Water Meter Replacement Progressing Ahead of Schedule

We are pleased to inform you that the water meter replacement project is progressing faster than anticipated. The new ultrasonic Sonata meters installation in Sonoma Verde is now complete, and installations in the High Point area have begun.

Current Progress:

Sonoma Verde: Installation has been successfully completed.
High Point Area: Crews from Mid Cimarron have already begun work in the High Point area, moving across CR548 to SH205.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this upgrade process. The enhanced monitoring capabilities and improved accuracy of the new meters will significantly benefit our community.

Returning to Stage Two Restrictions September 27, 2024

Dear RCH Members,

I am pleased to inform you that RCH is moving to Stage 2 of our modified drought contingency plan, effective immediately. This adjustment reflects an improvement in water availability, but we still ask for your cooperation to ensure the continued conservation of our resources.

Modified Stage 2 Guidelines:

Here are the key modifications for Stage 2:

Lawn Irrigation: Watering days will remain the same based on your designated day and zone. Watering is still allowed between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM. As conditions improve, additional days and hours may be added.
Irrigation Frequency: Lawn irrigation is limited to one day per week on your designated day.
Drip or Soaker Hose: Can be used any day, at any time.
Hand-Held Sprinklers: Allowed any day, at any time.
Pools: Filling or draining and refilling pools is allowed, but please notify us if you plan to completely fill a new pool.
Vehicle Washing: Washing vehicles is permitted, so long as water is used responsibly.
Hydrant Meters: Permitted for construction

We encourage all members to continue practicing smart, conservative water use to help us lift all restrictions as soon as possible.

We appreciate your continued efforts to conserve water as we work toward fully lifting these restrictions. Your cooperation is vital as we manage our resources.
