Urgent Reminder: Ensuring Your Vote Counts in the Upcoming RCH Ballot

Dear RCH Members,

As we draw closer to the voting deadline, I want to address an important issue regarding ballot submissions. It is crucial that every member's vote is counted and contributes to our community's decision-making process.

Invalid Ballots:

We have noticed that some ballots have been returned without the necessary identifying information, such as member names and numbers. As outlined in our previous communications, ballots lacking these details cannot be validated and, regrettably, will not be counted. This measure is in place to maintain the integrity and fairness of our voting process.

How to Resubmit a Valid Ballot:

If you are concerned that your ballot may have been invalid or if you inadvertently omitted your identifying information, there is a straightforward solution. You are welcome to visit the RCH office to pick up a new ballot and resubmit it with the correct information. Rest assured; the independent election auditor maintains a comprehensive list of members to ensure one ballot per member, safeguarding against duplicate submissions.

Available Options for Ballot Submission:

To recap, you have three methods to cast your vote, each designed to accommodate your preferences:

  1. Mail: Ensure your ballot, complete with all required information, is mailed back using the pre-addressed and stamped envelope provided. Remember, the deadline for receipt of mailed ballots is 12:00 pm on April 15, 2024.
  2. Office Delivery: You can deliver your ballot directly to our office, with the same deadline of 12:00 pm on April 15, 2024, for it to be counted.
  3. In-Person at the Member Meeting: Join us and cast your vote in person at the member meeting scheduled for April 16 at 4:00 pm.

We understand that errors can occur, and we want to ensure every member has the opportunity to participate in this vital process. Your vote is a significant contribution to the direction and policies of RCH Water Supply.

For any questions or further assistance, please feel free to contact our office. Your active involvement is key to our community's success.

Best regards,
