Proposed Bylaws Revision & Upcoming Membership Approval

Dear RCH Members,,

I am writing to share an important update regarding our cooperative's governance and to seek your active participation in shaping our future.

Over the past several months, the Board has diligently reviewed and revised our bylaws to ensure they align with our current operations and future aspirations. This effort was undertaken with the guidance and expertise of the Texas Rural Water Association (TRWA), a respected statewide organization dedicated to supporting water systems like ours across Texas.

The revised bylaws reflect our commitment to transparency, efficiency, and the highest standards of service to our community. They are designed to enhance our governance structure, ensuring it remains responsive and accountable to you, our valued members.

In the spirit of openness and member engagement, we will be posting the proposed bylaws on our website concurrently with the distribution of ballots. This will allow you ample time to review the document before mailing in your ballot or voting in person at the annual meeting. We believe that informed participation is key to our collective success, and we encourage you to review the proposed changes carefully.

Your voice matters to us. The approval of the new bylaws is a significant step that requires the collective endorsement of our membership. We count on your support and active participation in this process to ensure that RCH continues to thrive as a model of cooperative excellence.

Further details regarding the ballot process and the annual meeting will be provided in due course. In the meantime, should you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment and contribution to our collective journey.

Warmest regards,

David Naylor
RCH Board President
