IMMEDIATE 48-HOUR SPRINKLER SYSTEM IRRIGATION BAN

Effective Immediately

Dear RCH Members,

Due to continued high water usage extending past midnight, combined with a ground-shift line break within the RCH system, RCH is implementing an immediate 48-hour ban on the use of sprinkler irrigation systems.

During this 48-hour period, all automatic and manual lawn sprinkler system irrigation is prohibited.

Drip irrigation systems are permitted and may continue to be used during this temporary restriction.

This action is necessary to reduce demand on the water system while repairs are completed and to allow storage levels to recover. Maintaining adequate water reserves is essential to protecting the system and ensuring sufficient capacity for fire protection, emergency response, and other critical public safety needs.

We are asking all members to comply immediately and to reduce non-essential water use wherever possible.

Failure to achieve the necessary reduction in water usage will force RCH to implement Stage 3 water conservation measures.

We appreciate your immediate cooperation in helping us protect the water system and maintain safe, reliable water service for the entire community.
