Construction Update October 2025
October 15, 2025
Dear RCH Members,
Building on September’s momentum, we’re pleased to report several visible advances at the NT Take Point & Pump Station Project.
Civil Package
- Civil work is now complete, and the civil contractor (Mesa) began demobilizing on October 8.
3.0 MG Ground Storage Tank (GST)
- Preload is finalizing revised tank design drawings and will conduct a site walk this week; tank mobilization remains scheduled for mid-October.
Meter Vault
- The mud slab has been poured; crews are tying/forming the vault slab with a concrete pour targeted for October 15–16.
- Large-diameter valves (42″ & 24″) are expected to begin arriving this month; additional valves (sleeve valve and 18″ butterfly with EMO) are on schedule and slated for late December/early January.
- Wall pipes are expected on site by October 20.
Pump Station
- The pump can slab has been poured. Pump cans will be pressure-tested this week, with installation starting next week.
- While cans are in finishing, 24″ C900 pipe has been ordered and Felix will begin installing and connecting the transmission line from pump station location to main transmission line at the road.
- TXU/Oncor is set to install the electric meter by midnight tonight, and the pressure tank is complete and on site.
Schedule & Coordination
- Overall project milestones remain: Substantial Completion on May 5, 2026, and Final Completion on June 2, 2026.
- We’ll continue our standing progress meetings on the first Tuesday of each month to keep all teams aligned.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we bring this critical capacity online for the RCH community. We appreciate your trust and will keep you informed as we achieve each milestone.
Sincerely,
