NTMWD Board of Directors Approves Potable Water Supply Contract with RCH

Dear RCH Members,

I am thrilled to share some outstanding news that marks a significant milestone in securing a dependable water supply for our community. Today, the Board of Directors of the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) convened and, upon the strong recommendation of the North Texas Water Committee, approved the execution of the potable water supply contract between NTMWD and RCH Water Supply Corporation (RCH). The RCH Board of Directors endorsed this critical agreement at the board meeting on December 5th, 2023.

This agreement is a major leap forward in ensuring that RCH has access to a reliable and substantial water supply that can meet our current and future needs. The support from NTMWD underscores the effective collaboration between our organizations, setting a positive precedent for the future. With this contract in place, we are well-prepared to address the increasing water demands of our growing community, ensuring resilience and prosperity for years to come.

Our progress in securing a purchase agreement for the takepoint and initiating right-of-way negotiations has brought us closer than ever to implementing a direct connection with NTMWD. We are now within 24 months of completion.
